From screenplay to shooting boards, with the camera set in 3D
Paste a screenplay and Plotr splits it into shots, places characters in 3D space and frames the camera angle for each storyboard panel. You decide the framing and direction.
AI generates. You Plotr.
Sound familiar?
Hard to show the shots in your head
Turn your shot list into pictures right at pre-production.
Angles get lost in words
Set over-the-shoulder, high and low angles in 3D and talk over the same picture.
The axis drifts on reverse shots
Over-the-shoulder reverse shots between two people in the same location keep the previous camera side, respecting the 180-degree rule.
How it works
Paste the screenplay
Start a «Video storyboard» (shorts, YouTube, ads, short film, drama) and shots are split by film grammar.
Break down shots
Shot size, angle and movement notes are set per shot. Edit the shot text to reframe.
Frame it in 3D
Turn on 3D boards and each shot gets mannequins placed in space with the camera framed. Adjust poses and camera in the canvas 3D view, then generate the image from that framing.
Present and share
Export PDF or images, or join panels into an MP4 with voice and music. Share the project with your team as view or edit.
See it in action
From screenplay to shots
Paste the text, get shots, and fill empty panels in one batch.
Frame with 3D layers
Orbit the 3D space on the canvas and move characters and camera to find the angle.
Panels to video
Turn panels into AI video and join them on the timeline into an animatic.
FAQ
Can it look photoreal?
Yes. You can pick a photoreal style, or keep a simple line-based storyboard look.
Can I make video too?
Use «Image to video» to animate a panel, and export joined panels as MP4. Quality and length vary by engine.
Can my team review it?
Share a project with view or edit access, block downloads, or set an expiry date.
Is AI-generated art labeled?
Plotr uses generation models with built-in provenance marks (C2PA, SynthID) and preserves them on export. Re-saved files get a generative-AI label, and we let you know.
Frame your next shoot in 3D
One scene from your screenplay is enough.
