Plotr Movie
Turn cuts into AI video and edit them on the timeline.
Turn your finished cuts into AI video, stitch them on a timeline, and export a single MP4. Cuts made in any format — webtoon, panel comic, or video — become video as long as they have an image.
Open Plotr Movie
Open ‘Plotr Movie’ from the sidebar. If you don't have cut images yet, make the cuts first — cuts made as webtoon or panel comic can also become video.
Worth noting: Only cuts that have an image can become video. In text-conti (pre-image) state, use ‘Go make cuts’ to generate the cut images first, then come back.
Generate video from a cut
Pick a cut, choose an engine and length, then generate. Engines: ‘Plotr Movie’ (720p), ‘Plotr Movie HD’ (1080p), ‘Plotr Movie PV’ (1080p, with audio), plus ‘Kling’ and ‘Seedance’; length is 4 or 8 seconds. Do many cuts at once with ‘Batch generate’.
Worth noting: Video generation is also submitted in the background — it fills in as it finishes, so no need to wait. Note the ‘Plotr Movie’ tiers (Veo) only generate at 16:9 or 9:16, so if your cut has a different ratio the sides or top/bottom widen. To keep the original ratio, choose Kling or Seedance.
Refine on the timeline
On the timeline below, split clips (‘Split’), change speed, reverse, and add fade in/out. Reorder clips by dragging. ‘Merge’ rejoins a continuous range from the same source.
Add global captions
‘Global captions’ aren't tied to one cut — they're timed against the full video length. Use them to carry one line across several cuts. For a caption that stays inside a single cut, use the per-cut ‘Captions’.
Sound effects and voice
Pick sounds from the ‘SFX Library’ (CC0, free for commercial use), and use ‘Generate voice’ to have an AI voice read a cut's narration or dialogue — just choose one of the preset voices. Added SFX and voice are mixed into the video on export.
Worth noting: Voice generation is for paid plans only. SFX library files can't be downloaded on their own — they're mixed in when you export the video.
Export as MP4
Press ‘Export MP4’ at the top right to get a single file with the timeline, captions, SFX, and voice all combined. Set the aspect ratio up front with ‘Ratio’ at the top.
