Q1. Are scripts analyzed by AI and the storyboard images it generates always accurate?
Generative AI is a technology with vast potential, but it can occasionally produce inaccurate information or unintended results (hallucinations) that aren't grounded in the given context. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated script analyses or storyboard images are 100% accurate or reliable. We recommend that you personally verify the facts and review the results carefully before applying them to actual work.
Q2. Are the scripts and prompt data I enter used to train the AI model?
No. Plotr does not use the scripts, prompts, or conversations you enter to train AI models. What you enter is used only to carry out the script analysis and image generation you requested, and is sent to our AI processing provider (Google Vertex AI, and model providers routed through fal.ai) for that purpose. The scope of this delegation and the cross-border transfer involved are described in Article 3 of our Privacy Policy. Generated results and scripts are stored in your account and are deleted when you delete your account.
Q3. Do I own the copyright to the generated storyboard images?
Under current law, results generated entirely automatically by AI algorithms are not typically recognized as copyrightable works in themselves. However, when there is 'human creative involvement'—such as carefully crafting prompts or making additional edits and modifications to the generated images—the user may be recognized as the author. Please be aware that using results generated from prompts that infringe on others' copyrights or portrait rights may incur legal liability.
Q4. What should I do if the generated images are inappropriate, offensive, or infringe on others' rights?
Our AI model applies filtering technology to prevent the generation of inappropriate content or misleading results, but it may not always catch everything perfectly. If you find inappropriate results that defame others, infringe copyright, or qualify as harmful content for minors, please report them through [1:1 Inquiry]. We will promptly review and take measures to improve the service and block such content.
Q5. If I delete my account, how are the scripts and images I created deleted?
Plotr is a web service you use in your browser, and your projects, scripts, and generated images are stored in our cloud. You can delete individual projects or images yourself at any time inside the app. To remove your account entirely, request deletion from the [Account] screen in the app. There is a 30-day grace period after the request, during which you can cancel the deletion from the same screen. Once the grace period ends, your account information and stored work are permanently erased in a non-recoverable manner. If you have an active subscription, it is cancelled automatically when you request deletion, so you will not be charged again. Payment records are kept for 5 years as required by Korean commerce and tax law, with personally identifying information removed.
Q6. How is Plotr different from other AI image generation tools?
Plotr is a professional AI storyboard tool for webtoon and comic creators. Paste your script and panels are generated in one batch — with consistent characters and backgrounds — and every panel stays editable at the layer level without full regeneration: move and resize characters, extend or swap backgrounds, zoom into expressions, and composite layers. With automatic speech bubbles and one-click PNG export, Plotr supports the entire storyboarding workflow from script to finished files, which is the key difference from single-image generation tools.
Q7. Does Plotr train AI on my art style?
No. Plotr never uses your artwork to train AI. Your style is used only as a reference during generation, and the rights to your original work stay entirely with you.
Q8. Can I use Plotr if I can't draw?
Yes. All you need is a script — storyboard panels are generated from text. That said, Plotr's core strength is panel-level editing, so creators with a sense of direction will get even more out of it.
